Each teacher gets a webpage for each of their classes. Thanks to recent revisions to how classes are created you have more control in the creation and maintenance of your individual class pages. To help you acclimate to the new process Educational Networks has created a video tutorial. that can be opened by clicking on the link located at the top of your Admin Home Page.
In the middle of your Admin Home Page you will find this a box listed as My Classes.
In order to add a class click the Add Class button.
Adding a Class
Once you add a class the Add Class page will open. Fill in the appropriate information for the class such as Class Name, Choose a teacher and Department then pick the school Term. Code isn't necessary for our school.
You can create different sites for different sections that you have. So Block 1 can have a different page than Block 2.
At the bottom you can place a Class Description that will appear at the top of your new class page. This is a good place for an introduction to parents and perspective students. Scrolling down to the bottom you have a place to upload any files, pictures, etc that will also appear on the page. Remember to click save when done.
Class Information
After saving you will be taken to the Class Information page. This shows you what you've created and allows you to add or make changes to that page.
There are buttons for adding a photo album, links and homework. Photo Album and Links are covered here. We are going to concentrate on Add Homework. At the bottom are buttons that allow you to Edit, Delete or add More Classes. Clicking anyone of those advances you to a page similar to the add a class page. See the above instructions on how to do that.
Add Homework
Adding homework assignments is as adding anything else to the website. Click the calendar icon to pick a due date. Fill in a description for the homework in the provided box. You can add links to other webpages that you feel could be helpful to the assignment as well as upload documents and pictures to the site that can be helpful. Remember to click Save. Once saved the homework will appear on your class page. See here for the front end of the page.
